Here we are again, it’s wintertime and the Christmas season is upon us. For Christians, this is one of the 2 most important seasons of the year shared only with Easter in its significance. It is in this season that we intentionally focus on the moment when Jesus, the eternal Son of God, came into the earth as a baby. In the history of the Church, we have called this period leading up to Christmas Advent, which means “coming” or “arrival."

What right do you have to hold your spouse’s sin against them? In marriage, we are to cover one another's shortcomings with grace. We need to see our spouse through the work of the cross. Marriage Conference | Spencer Davis | Saturday Morning

Love finds its meaning in Christ. In 1 Corinthians 13:4-6 we see Paul describing how love acts. Our culture today is confused by what love is. We know that Jesus is our ultimate example of how to love. Love places your spouse higher than your emotions. In this session, Spencer Davis walks through 11 verbs that describe biblical love in marriage.

This passage isn’t about marriage; it's about God’s love. We get to mirror His love for us to our spouses. Love is a beautiful dying to self, so let’s fight to love like Jesus.

Marriage Conference | Brody Holloway | Friday Night

1 Corinthians 13 shows us what it looks like to be faithful to both Jesus and our spouses. As believers, we need to be known by our love for Jesus and for one another. In this session, Brody walks through a Biblical definition of love. We can take this and apply it to our friendships and marriages. 
Christ is the only example of perfect sacrificial love. We as believers, are recipients of this kind of love. Let’s look to Christ as our example and love our spouses the way Jesus would.

Fall Retreat | Rob Conti | Sunday Morning

Satan has used fear and death to keep us enslaved to him. But because Christ was raised from the dead, our resurrection as believers is certain. The only way not to be held by death forever is to believe the message of the Gospel.
Everything in this world is fighting to steal your attention from the truth of the Gospel and shift it anywhere else. Let’s stay focused on the Lord and love the lost with the Gospel.
