The Social Impact Now! Podcast highlights social changemakers creating a positive impact in communities. We’ll hear stories of community-led innovation, entrepreneurship, and bringing an equity lens to impact investing and conscious capital.     Trust Philanthropy, The Problem with Philanthropic Decision-Making and Living Your Full Mission

    On this episode of Social Impact Now!, we have Ingrid Benedict, Executive Director of Daphne Foundation, a foundation that invests in empowering organizations and communities to develop solutions that result in an equitable, fair and peaceful New York City. Ingrid is also a member of the New England Blacks in Philanthropy and is an RSF Social Finance Integrated Capital Fellow. On today’s show, we’ll discuss Trust Philanthropy, how philanthropy can use all its capital (financial, social, political, etc.) to fully power their mission and social movements, who are being left out of philanthropic decision-making table and 10-year goals for the field of philanthropy.
