Sorkin' In It: The Films & Television of Aaron Sorkin

I stumbled across this show recently and listened to all of their episodes on The Newsroom in a couple of days before moving onto Studio 60. I plan on listening to the movie ones next before catching up on Sports Night. I don’t always agree with what Brian and Lex say, but I really enjoy their viewpoints and they provide reasonable critiques in a pithy and amusing manner. You can tell they really love Sorkin’s writing and it’s a fantastic show to listen to from 2 erudite fans.

Finally, a thorough and insightful podcast, dedicated to the genius of Sorkin. These two do a great job dissecting several movies and series without being overbearing or wasteful of the listener’s time. I’m going to enjoy re-watching shows and listening to the entire podcast series.

I remember watching the first episode of Sports Night and falling in love with the characters and the dialog. Little did I realize that this was the start of my Aaron Sorkin obsession. I have loved all the series and like to talk about them any time I can. Unfortunately, my friends are tired of hearing me talk about Sorkin almost as much as they are tired of me talking about Springsteen.
