Sports History This Week

Kaelen Jones is a superb storyteller. You don’t necessarily listen to scripted podcasts these days where the story editor is also the narrator. It creates a cohesive unit that gets good content out to the listener. From the first episode that I listened to featuring Billie Jean King to now, the content has been tremendous. Billie Jean King in particular was just a great story. The audio mixing was sensational, the interview with the actual subject herself was well done, and it just made you feel like you were everywhere throughout the life of a tennis legend. As a fanatic of both history and sports, this is the podcast I have been waiting to listen to for the majority of my life. I want to continue to hear more interesting stories besides the ones that have been produced. Please keep this podcast going until the end of time! Also, shoutout to Bill Moss for his sound mixing. He is a pro’s pro.

My man Jones delivers every episode! Not only is he a rising star in the business, but he keeps getting better and better with each episode. Since listening, I've learned a ton about all different types of sports in history which is exactly why I keep coming back! Let's go!

I don’t normally review podcasts but I was profoundly impressed with the way the WWI Soldiers find Peace in Football episode. The way this was presented with the stories of the soldiers telling the narrative was amazing. This was an excellent way to tell the story. Very impressed and enjoyed the episode.
