Meeting you where you are!
I normally don’t listen to podcasts but a friend sent me this. I can relate on soooo many levels. I am hoping one day to be on my journey to healing and becoming who I was meant to be. Both of you are well spoken and are very easy and encouraging to listen to. I will definitely be tuning into to future podcasts. You gals rock! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A safe space
Rev Karla is insightful and attuned to the needs of those who have experienced any religious trauma and/or come from any cult- like thinking religious background. She offers a safe space to curl up into, where you feel seen and heard. This space is sacred and whole. It is a healing balm for those of us seeking refuge in the unknown. She is gentle, compassionate, and kind. Without even telling you, she holds the space in which you’re walking. Rev Karla meets you where you are and validates every single step. Each podcast episode brings forth something new and I look forward to her words every single time. It’s as though you’re the only one in the room with her and she’s speaking directly into you. You will find healing here.
Spiritual Nutrition
Rev Karla meets every need I have for a spiritual leader/advisor/counselor. After struggling with religion to fit my own morals and ethics, I now know it’s okay to be spiritual AND not religious. She acknowledges and validates religious trauma while also respecting the heritage and sacredness of religion. She has provided the first spiritual community where I truly feel seen, heard, and affirmed.
