I can’t believe that I actually look forward to listening to sermons, but I really do. Roger Nelson combines a thoughtful personal take on a Bible passage with strong Biblical scholarship to provide context, and a constant reminder that it is God who seeks us out and loves us, not a matter of us proving ourselves worthy of him. I wish this sort of preaching is what people thought of when they think of Christianity.
