This is a show for both newcomers and long-time fans alike, as part of we what do here is explore perspectives on Star Trek and storytelling in general. We're currently watching through a curated 100 episode list titled "Venturing Through The Universe." In this list, we're exploring how the Star Trek franchise has grown and changed over the decades, beginning with its origins in 1964 and seeing where it ends up in the modern day. We'll go on adventures with Mister Spock, listen to Patrick Stewart wax philosophically about humanity, and see how high Captain Pike's towering pompadour can get. Covering the good, the bad, and the ugly, we'll get a look at just about everything Star Trek has to offer. So grab your headphones, cue up an episode, and get lost in a silly little Star Trek story with us. Make it so!

"Lower Decks"
You know what they say: "What happens in the lower decks, stays in the lower decks." Unless, of course, we're watching this particular episode. And the entire series of Star Trek: Lower Decks. Hmm, maybe what happens down in the lower decks doesn't actually stay there at all. Maybe those little background characters are secretly the most important characters in all of Star Trek. Or maybe not. I guess we'll find out in tonight's unique episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation.

"Parallels"
It's fun going back and forth between TNG and DS9. Each week, you're getting a different flavor of Star Trek show. While they have their similarities, they're also quite different from each other. You might even call them parallels of each other. But whether you're more of TNG or DS9 fan, there's one constant between both camps: everyone loves Worf. So who cares which show it's from, let's just all sit down and enjoy this Worf episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation.

"The Siege"
Our podcast has been under siege by legendary Bajoran war hero Li Nalas for three episodes now. I'm not sure how much longer we can hold out. Who could ever hope to withstand the creative and thematic might of Li Nalas? Perhaps it's time to submit to his glory and declare him to be Star Trek's greatest character. Or maybe not. Either way, let's see if we can make it through this trilogy climaxing episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

"The Circle"
As much as I wish we could say we have come full circle, we have only reached the middle part of this trilogy. Maybe I can instead say that we have reached the middle point of a triangle? Does that work? Cool, so we have reached the middle of point of a triangle with "The Circle." Wait, a circle isn't the middle point of triangle, how am I supposed to square that? Forget the shapes, let's just watch this middle-ing episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

"The Homecoming"
As with many DS9 episodes, Kira gets to kick butt in this one. So does that make her The Homecoming Queen? She certainly is my book. Man, imagine taking Kira to the Homecoming Dance. That floor would get lit. Seriously though, Kira would no doubt be in a phaser fight by the end of the night, busting out all those Bajoran terrorist moves on her Cardassian oppressors trying to kill her right to party. Hopefully, she can put those moves to good use in this season opening episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

If you enjoy hearing woke virtue signalers judge old tv shows through the left-wing values of today, this is the show for you! Bringing an original perspective of “the treatment of women, the lack of diversity, and the portrayal of white people as leaders years ago was just so cringy, isn’t it wonderful that we are so much more enlightened now?” I tried, I really tried. They seem to have some good insight. But they ruined it by being overly condescending when, really, we all know our great-grandparents were awful people. It’s tedious at this point.
