Just in time for Christmas, a special State of the Program covering UVA football on the Hoos On Podcast.

Host Preston Willett from The Sabre is joined by Brad Franklin from Cavs Corner and former All-ACC safety with the Cavaliers Tony Covington to take stock of where Virginia football is following a 5-7 season in year three under Tony Elliott.

The guys start by taking a temperature check of the program following a disappointing end to the season in Blacksburg, but a promising few weeks in the transfer portal. Then they cover Virginia's level of buy-in to football with recent NIL donations, academic challenges and recruiting. Also taking stock of where the roster is with a few exciting additions and some key departures.

Finally Preston, Brad and Cov hand out grades for the offense, defense, special teams and Tony Elliott for the year and then talk about expectations for the program moving into next season.
