Stephanie Cotsirilos|Love across culture, love across boundaries

As author of the novella My Xanthi and published finalist in Mississippi Review's Prize in Fiction, I write about humor, injustice, and the resilience of the human heart. Tapping my multiracial family and careers on and off Broadway and as a lawyer, I’m also author of songs and scripts produced in New York, short stories, and essays. In 2021, as inaugural Krant Fellow at Storyknife’s Writers Retreat in Alaska, I rediscovered the intangible thing that law and the arts share: through mercy or otherwise, they search for the mystery within people. That’s what I’m looking for.
