A fav

Loved Stephanie on Top Chef, one of my top 5 (all equal…I can’t pick a top fav) and love her more here. Her sense of humor is delightful and self-deprecating, her stories take you everywhere and bring up even more stories and I’m hooked. Eleven episodes in and I’ve already bought a book she recommended and followed the super kind and talented luna.culinary on Instagram. As a Top Chef fangirl, her Kristen Kish episodes were a favorite! This show is a treat that I look forward to every week.

I’d LOVE an episode on what SC cooks for her families and how those culinary decisions are made. Do you cook at their home? Do you deliver and serve or just deliver and they reheat? Basically everything about being a personal chef. I’d like to call myself a personal chef, but all I do is cook for my husband!

Episode 2 Books

Bought every single book from Episode 2. Mr. Jiu’s book stepped up my chili paste game significantly….ingredients, ingredients, ingredients. Looked for the right source for a long time for using chilies in general, your recommendations nailed it.
Keep going Steph!

Summer Time Meal (or app)

Recently rediscovered a childhood favorite and it’s perfect for my upcoming summer gatherings. Fruit salsa with cinnamon sugar chips. The chips are flour tortillas baked with butter and cinnamon sugar (sliced with a pizza cutter). The salsa is any combinations of apples, strawberries, kiwi, oranges, and some brown sugar. Dice it up real small, mix in a bit of sugar, maybe add a little fruit preserve, refrigerate. So quick and easy and refreshing.
