Superman (1978) and Lunchables
This week, we talk about Superman the Movie, starring Christopher Reeve, Margot Kidder, Gene Hackman, Ned Beatty, and Marlon Brando. Superman was a 1978 superhero film based on the DC Comics superhero Superman. The film was directed by Richard Donner based on a screenplay by Mario Puzo, David Newman, Leslie Newman, and Robert Benton.
It is the first of four installments in the Superman film series starring Reeve as Superman, and it inspired Steve's first Halloween costume at the age of 3!
Before we get into our fun facts, history, and memories, we dig into the classic "fun lunch" Lunchables!
Did Megan enjoy her first ever Lunchable? Did Steve enjoy Superman as much as he did as a kid? Listen to find out!

Customer Reviews
Really enjoying this show!
The hosts do a great job of “saving” the truly important things of life for future generations: pop culture of the 80’s & 90’s. :)
The show is like sitting down with some friends and taking about movies and TV shows that we loved as kids; lots of good vibes here. If you are a GenX’er and love the nostalgia of your youth, then I recommend you give this show a listen.
Entertaining and whimsical
Love listening to these episodes especially the background information in the shows and movies which is informative, but especially the lively banter and ease of the hosts. Always a fun and engaging listen!
