I’ve loved this podcast since middle school, and it’s a lovely backdrop to game to! If possible, an episode on horses and horse lore in Japan would be really appreciated! Keep up the awesome work! xo
1st episode should be renamed

I thought it best to start with the 1st episode but was wrong. I got tired of hearing the history of the narrator and podcast and moved on. I grew impatient waiting on a actual story. 1st episode should be called “Prologue” or “Introduction” something of that nature. Maybe I will try another episode when I have time and update this review.
Fascinating and entertaining

I’ve been a resident of Japan for many years and only recently discovered Uncanny Japan and have been binge listening ever since. Though I’m not usually a consumer of folklore stories, I find this podcast very interesting and told in a very entertaining way.
