Straight To The League

Straight To The League (STTL) is not the podcast we deserve, but it is the podcast we need and this is especially true if Pittsburgh wants to be the inclusive city it claims to be. The good brothas of the STTL podcast possess the unique ability to find common ground with people from all walks of life, including but not limited to artist, activists, designers, politicians, professionals, goons and nerds. The commentary is genuine and hilarious and if you want to feel like you are kicking it with old friends then check out the STTL podcast. The great debate - choke-slam or slap (Episode 5): A slap is all about effect, but there is a possibility that the slapper might take a resounding L. Accordingly, a choke-slam is significantly worse than a slap because there is no coming back from a choke-slam. The choke-slammer has the freedom to choose any move from its move-rolodex, which certainly includes a variety of slaps, but settles on the rarely used choke-slam. The choke-slammer could DDT its opponent or young-boy them for life with a wedgie, noogie or indian-burn. Essentially, the choke-slammer is capable of doing whatever it wants and that’s enough for me to conclude that I would much rather fall victim to the slap than the choke-slam.

Listened once and I'm hooked. Great conversations that always entertain. Safe to say I'll be a lifetime listener. I feel like I skipped college and went straight to the league!!
