We discuss myths and facts and Down Syndrome, Emily highlights disability justice and disability theory, and of course we have to revisit the groundbreaking family show, “Life Goes On.” Also Dawn is a Summer and so on trend, and the adults are horny. Super fun podcast hangout & continues to be so
The banter is so fun AND I learn something every time. I never read past book 30 or so, but it doesn’t matter. Still love listening when a new episode drops. (Full disclosure that these are dear old friends - BUT, if it weren’t great, I wouldn’t still be listening!!!!)
Pizza toast worthy!
Pizza toast to this pod squad. A perfect blend of nostalgia with an astrix via the contemporary lens. The trio does an amaze job at breaking down the problematic elements, provide a historical context, and loving and lol-worthy celebration of our shared youth. A dash of candy and junk food from the days of mallomars and jungle cafe is the cherry on top. If this podcast were a person she’d wear Claire’s earrings and smell of bath and body while sporting scrunchies and jellies with frilly socks. Luv U 4Ever .. BFFS 4 LYFE
Taking me back to my childhood!
