Such Good Words

Not knowing much about the Xena series and then finding this podcast, it has been hilarious to listen to the hosts talk and explain the aging campiness of this show. Whether you're a xena fanatic or a newcomer to the warrior princess like me, you'll love this pod.

Xena is finely cooked brisket. The two hosts, the diners. As they touch it and begin to pull at it ever so slightly it falls apart completely, like the urn I dropped at my nana's house. Then when they really start chew this delicacy it just falls apart. They scrutinize this brisket that couldn't stand on four legs. (Xena- not a good horse.) This is an absolutely enjoyable meal to watch and I love what comes out of the other side right onto my chest. I cannot wait for each episode as the hosts digest this beautiful, yet brittle show and take a genuinely deep look into the puddle that is Xena. P.S. If you like this you should also watch Oceans 11 and Oceans 13, they are overlooked ensemble masterpieces with very few flaws. Toodles!

I feel a little pretentious in writing this, but in taking unwanted breaks from my community skill-building classes on tolerance, and writing alternative language versions of my memoirs on emergent paint appreciation, I decided to give this podcast a shot. I hated Xena (and not wanting to fuel my anger, never watched the show), and I have a strong conviction to save others from experiencing persons, places, or things that I don't fancy. 5 stars, probably, I don't know. The podcast is ostensibly about Xena: Warrior Princess, the terrible show from the '90s. In reality, it's a forum for the two hosts to try and make, as they call it, "goofs", be rather pretentious, and essentaily waste everyone's time. Don't waste your time listening. You'd get more comedic and actual value out of watching paint dry.
