His statement would have reverberated through Jewish history, resonating from the creation narrative to the deliverance of the Israelites, from the celebration of Sukkot to the poetic verses of Psalms and Proverbs, and echoing the prophetic declarations of Isaiah, Hosea, and Zechariah.
