In 2006, Ana-Maria co-founded the association REPER21, dedicated to promoting sustainable development in Romania. Within REPER21, she has coordinated various initiatives focusing on responsible consumption, sustainable project management, climate education, green public procurement, and climate change. Since 2023, she has been managing the European Climate Pact in Romania on behalf of REPER21, closely collaborating with a group of 31 climate ambassadors nationwide. Over the years, she has trained over 1,000 citizens, teachers, officials, and activists across the country on sustainable development topics.
