Cyberpunk 2077: Part 1
We have brain worms we need to exorcise, and so we've invited our friend Roberto on to talk about the video game Cyberpunk 2077. Made by CD PROJEKT RED and set in the universe created by Mike Pondsmith, this game is a masterful blend of politics, themes, and storytelling. In part 1 we discuss the political situation of Night City, the implications of all the chrome, and how to write love interests. Sorry for the wait and we hope you love this game as much as we do.Roberto's Pods: @tsarpowerpo...

SF and fantasy analysis from an anarchist viewpoint
I have heard the first year of their podcast so far and found most episodes interesting and sometimes thought provoking. The format of the show is an informal conversation between 2 - 4 people. It is not scripted, but is based on participants having read the books recently and talking about the societal views in the books. It is minimally scripted, so if you like to feel like you’re listening in on a conversation on literature, you might like this. If you want a scripted presentation, it’s probably not for you.
The regular hosts are self described anarchists, so the analysis comes from that perspective. I’m not convinced, but you don’t have to be to enjoy and even mentally rebut some of the views as you listen. The conversation can devolve into name calling for authors who are racist or anti queer.
Amazing
I absolutely love these guys and the work they do in explaining our Genre Fiction for those who sometimes want to see the messages inside or may have missed it. I look forward to each and every episode!
