Customer Reviews
One of the best podcasts ever!
I listen to a lot of podcasts. A lot. And I look forward to new ‘sodes from LLBD more than any other podcast, though it might be a tie between LLBD and ‘Well, There’s Your Problem’. Both are great, both are ad-free!!! Hey, Nate! Go on tangents all you want, my dude! No need to apologize for it or even address it. Do your thing how you do your thing! And ‘Hey!’ Joe! (Where you going with that gun in your hand? I expect to hear this every time I hear ‘Hey, Joe’…) I love what you do and am a Patron. Keep up the great work, but take some planned time off every fem months. It’s deserved!
From not a military nerd
I appreciate shows like this and the dollop that scrapes away the veneer of nice shiny polish that is time. History is never neat and tidy, military history especially, and we need affable dummies to explain why dumb stuff is dumb (like how invading Russia in the dead of winter is a bad idea or how never flanking the enemy is a good way to get your soldiers killed)
Also apple has given me a nickname on these reviews that makes me laugh just as much as this show so here we are…
Algorithm-based reasons
Came for the history, but stayed for the corpse based infrastructure. Well done, a weekly must listen.
