It Could Happen Here started as an exploration of the possibility of a new civil war. Now a daily show, it's evolved into a chronicle of collapse as it happens, and an exploration of how we might build a better future. Every day Robert Evans, Garrison Davis, Mia Wong, James Stout and Shereen Lani Younes take you on a jaunty walk through the burning ruins of the old world and towards a better one that lays just on the horizon.

Usually good, but not always
I would say that eight out if 10 times this is a pretty good show. I feel it’s important to get a variety of news from a variety of sources. That’s how we grow and evolve as people. But, every now and then, the show is hosted by people who seem to have less than stellar journalistic professionalism. For example, I really looked forward to listening to the Temu episode when I saw it drop. But, unfortunately, when I was able to find the time to sit down and listen the episode was virtually impossible as it seemed to be hosted by giggling teenagers. The actual information presented seemed genuine, but the constant “hehehe” of the hosts was more than I could take. Fortunately, this seems to be the exception and not the rule for this show, and I’ll continue to listen
l-l-like i i like you know so the thing like is
i i i like like i like like i like would be good but the obvious amphetamine abuse like like like you know kinda ruins it?
“Like” is not the only filler word in existence
I was really interested to listen to the Temu episode but I couldn’t even get through it because every other word was “like”. Can’t you throw in an “I mean”, an “Um”, etc.? Any word other than “like”? Seriously.
