Great podcast full of info. As far assubs. catching trawler net American Sub caught net pulled trawler backwards and under water it killed everyone on board the trawler off the coast of Hawaii.

Love the podcast guys! I really enjoy the easy, conversational feel of the show. It makes me feel like I’m sitting around with a bunch of friends talking shop and swapping stories. I get a few good chuckles in too. Thanks for doing what you do, keep it up!

So Craig Reed asserts that a US submarine bumped the Kursk and set off the chain of events that ended with Kursk on the bottom. You guys didn’t question the alleged coverup by the US Navy or further explore that or pressure test that. Is it really plausible that 120 people on a sub (and countless others elsewhere) have maintained that coverup for 20 years now? Bit more prep and in-the-moment interviewing skills, please. But... fascinating topics, heartfelt interest on your part, and admirable effort. But you can do better.

BLUF: 4 stars for topics and guests and 2 stars for interviewing skills of the hosts. As long as the topics are on submarines, the hosts are knowledgeable and insightful but outside that they are no better than amateurs. And that’s okay as long as hosts do some preparation before the interview. You can tell often they haven’t really done their homework and often shooting from their hips when asking questions and interjecting with conjectures. Lots of dead silences and “umm’s” and interruption of guests.
