"Take Down The Patriarchy" With Solange & Jen, formerly known as"Jessica & Solange Take Down The Patriarchy" is a feminist deconstruction of movies/TV Shows/Books that contain problematic and stereotypical representations of women. Solange Castro, a standup comic and playwright, wrote the play, "Changes In The Mating Strategies of White People." Jen O'Donell is a comic and producer of "The Ladies Room" as well as reality TV. Jessica Cabot is the writer and creator of the Lisa Kudrow produced web series "S****y Boyfriends." All women are working to help improve the portrayal of women in media through this podcast. Jessica is taking a hiatus from the podcast to pursue film school, but will always be a founding mother.
