Hello everyone and welcome back to the L.A. Parent podcast where we chat about all things parenting with our host, Nina Harada -- first time mom and the digital editor at L.A. Parent. 

Back from a weekend mommy/daughter trip up the central coast, Nina says she realizes how much our kids teach us. This past weekend was all about the importance of taking a moment to notice and appreciate the small transitions in our lives. As adults we have so much on our to-do list that we don't want to stop because we worry we might never get back on the train. Our kids are the ones that remind us that stopping and noticing is what we actually need to stay on the train. 

As we get ready for Thanksgiving and the kickoff to the holiday season, take the time to slow down, notice the moments, the transitions and the feelings.
