Welcome to "Quiet the Diet®", the podcast, hosted by Michelle Shapiro, Integrative/Functional Registered Dietitian from NYC. Michelle has supported over 1000 clients to reverse anxiety, approach their weight with love, and heal digestive issues. I found this podcast after seeing an IE (intuitive eating) dietitian and being told that I was likely going to cause my children to have an eating disorder because I didn’t have goldfish and such available in the house.. this didn’t sit right with me. I dag deeper and found some WP research about some anti-diet dietitians being sponsored/paid by the food giants and it started to make sense. Then I heard Michelle on another podcast and the rest is history :) her view was EXACTLY what I was feeling was the right approach for me. the other opinions were so black or white. Since then, I’ve been binging (pun intended) Quiet the diet and it’s just so informative, nuanced, not shaming or blaming, just clear cut info which is what nutrition information should be IMO. Keep it up, Michelle and the team!
