Tales to Terrify

The unseen creature whose ravenous fangs dog your every step as your footfalls echo down the midnight alleyway. — A long, icy shadow looming over you, making the hairs on your neck rise and your breath turn to ragged puffs of mist. — Unearthly howls that pierce the night, pulling you from the comfort of sleep with feverish, heart-pounding dread. — Welcome to Tales to Terrify, a weekly horror fiction podcast that gets under your skin, lays eggs and hatches writhing baby horrors nursed on your darkest fears. We're unique in our simplicity, bringing pure tales of terror to your ears audiobook-style – unadulterated and unadorned. Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/talestoterrify. Hosted on Acast. I love this show and have loved it since I first discovered it many many years ago. It has gone through many iterations and I look forward to the tales to come. Thanks to the team for all their hard work and dedication!
Struggles

A Two. This Podcast struggles in camparison to others in the horror genre. It struggles with its stories, voice actors, originality and frequency of content. The stories are boring and they go out of their way to present them as avant garde literature. Pompous horror is not interesting and is not what people are looking for to get some rest from this Pompous run world . In 2025 injecting political opinions and ideology into entertainment is finished. Nobody cares what a narrator named Meridith thinks beyond the story presented and nobody is impressed by what these outbursts really represents. Virtue signaling. Cheap pandering virtue signaling.
Not a good show.

This show disrespects women with management stating that men are women. I guess that concept in itself is horror. I prefer horror from a real woman’s point of view or a man’s. I don’t want a man acting like a woman telling me women stories.

Tell me again why the narrator’s proclivities are important to the listener???? Either way, I was so excited to hear about the narrator’s disorders, I hope he gets the help he needs. Subscription 😞 cancelled.
