There is a bit of background noise, but we used noise cancelling lapel mics so sound quality is ok. Brian Shearer is a professional comic book artist and illustrator based in the United States. He has worked on a variety of high-profile comic book titles, including Transformers, and Doctor Who, among others. He also writes and illustrates his creator-owned graphic novels, Gunship Thunderpunch and William the Last. We know him best for his work on GI Joe, inking SL Gallant after Gary Eskine's run. Starting with 173 then a long run 191 through to 263. Funny moments of happenstance happen on the floor of a convention like JoeFest. One such moment was when I bumped into Josh Eggebeen at the After Action Report booth, and he told me that I had to talk to a guy that they had been talking to - it was Chi Wang, who not only coloured Marvel's final few GI joe comics, but was also one half of Bench Press Studios - who had very nearly launched a GI Joe comic in the late 90s,a little before Devil's Due succeeded in obtaining the license. Chia-Chi Wang (born 1975 in Taipei, Taiwan) is a comic book creator. In the early '90s, he worked on a freelance basis coloring for Marvel Comics, significantly coloring the final run on G.I. Joe with a run on 149 - 155 and the Todd McFarlane GI Joe Special. In the late '90s, he teamed up with fellow Marvel artist Benny Powell to form Bench Press Studios, which at one point planned to publish G.I. Joe and Transformers comics. Joe; plus Beavis & Butthead, Drafted and more Mark and Tim are talking with artist, letter and comics legend Rick Parker. https://youtu.be/iNXo6uqNy3w Richard Lowell Parker was born in 1946 and is an American artist, writer, and cartoonist whose humorous artwork has appeared in The New York Times, The Village Voice, Time magazine, U.S. News & World Report, Life magazine, various comic books published by Marvel Comics as well as Fine Art. In 1966 Parker was drafted into the United States Army, but got his start in the comics industry as a letterer for Marvel Comics in the late 1970s Parker is widely known as the artist of MTV's Beavis and Butt-Head comic book, published by Marvel from 1994 to 1996. He wrote and illustrated his own graphic novel, Deadboy, in 2010, his graphic novel memoir Drafted is out now and he is working on the sequel “The Artiste”.
