The Pod of Greed

Hey guys me again I’m writing another review because I actually quitter for a while. But then after the past few episodes you guys helped get back into the competitive yugioh state the I was used to be at. So thank you very much for all the work you guys put into. P.S I really love your yugioh skits

Proudly listened to the podcast since episode 1, and been a “wallflower fan” of your YouTube channel, ever since you guys did videos of Yu-Gi-Oh! Structure Deck duels back in 2021 - Thanks to you guys, I was excited to jump back in, and catch up on all of that lost time. The lovely hosts make a great dynamic duo, with plenty of humor, lightheartedness, and give great, genuine opinions on various topics. I greatly appreciate the content done outside of Yu-Gi-Oh!, that’s still well within the sphere of other related, “enthusiast hobbies”. Your takes are always so charming and interesting to hear. P.S. A note for the wonderful hosts, take it or leave it: You guys never go on too long about any given topic, it’s a podcast! We came here to hear any and all spirited discussions about our favorite hobbies, rant or go on as much as you like!! (-Compared to other podcasts that have +2min unskippable ads).

This was always my fav podcast from the jump and I’ve always considered Paul one of the yugitube goats, but retro yugioh hate has gotten frustrating! For a general/casual ygo podcast, you’d think the Pod would embrace things like Edison UTW topping lists and emerging new retro formats for the vast majority of us 30 listeners. Rather, anytime Edison/goat is mentioned in the Pod is often followed by “those are just snapshot formats tho…” and move on to continue gushing over MD. Look, I’m not saying Pauls going to suddenly embrace Edison/goat, etc, but I implore the Pod to TRY a time Wizard local tournament or at least include a “Retro YGO Update” segment in the pod. I’ll keep listening to the pod and praying for change each week!

I know I’m late to the party, but I wanted to say congrats on making it to over 100 episodes. Even though I don’t play the game anymore, Yu-Gi-Oh! will always have a special place in my heart. I really enjoy hearing about what’s going on in the dueling world and reminiscing over a good Team APS retro duel. Keep up the good work. Pass turn! (Edited) Since writing this review, I went and bought 3 Blue-Eyes structure decks so yeah… we’re back.
