TaSTA... Shedding of the Snake Skin [Ep. 113]

Tommie and Spud Talk About...

In Episode 113 - Shredding of the Snake Skin, Tommie and Spud talk about several dreams and syncs involving snakes. Spud mentions a review on Amazon about Peter Kingsley, which leads to a discussion around a scholarly approach versus a practitioners approach - and why both have value.

There is a discussion around Keith Raniere, NXIVM and The Vow documentary, and cults and general cultish behaviour.

After that, we discuss the differences between Awakening, Initiation and Darśana, which leads nicely into Spud's theory of there only being two Archetypes: The Victim & The Hero.

Last week, Spud launched a Chaos Hand grenade around the notions of "Cultural Shadows", which we unpack for a while.

Tommie then guides Spud and you, the Listener, through a process which allows you to experience that everything has the exact same quality and arises in the exact same place and then you might even disappear. This leads to the ending discussion about Awakening and if it's actually worth persuing.

And we end with Tommie and Spud discussing two recent dreams, and why sometimes dreams don't mean anything.
