This is an incredible story told by an astonishing narrator, Hayley Rawle. It’s well worth the investment in your time to start from the first episode. It will not disappoint. 10/10.

I found the pod after SLOMW came out and have slowly been listening to each episode. I love how the host gives a safe space for people to share their stories, no matter where they are on their journey of deconstruction. And for what it’s worth, I find the hosts voice to be very calming! (For whatever weirdo commented that they don’t like her voice)

I don’t know Hayley personally but each episode, with a guest or solo, I feel like I’m digging into the deepest and funnest of conversations with a good friend. When I left the church I grew apart from my TBM friends. We used to sit around a fire many times and share scary mission stories we had heard from friends and neighbors and talk about the complexities of the gospel. This podcast has been a lifeline in my faith transition and kept me feeling supported and understood in the many lonely moments that come with leaving the church. Love love love!!!
