In this episode, Kunal Kamra sits down with TV producer and director Suhaib Ilyasi, who hosted the iconic crime show India’s Most Wanted in the late 90s and early 2000s. Suhaib talks about the show’s creation, its impact, and his reputation as one of the first TV anchors to sensationalise news.

Talking about his sting operation of actors Shakti Kapoor and Aman Verma, he says, “It was necessary to highlight the inappropriate acts young girls in Bollywood were forced to do.” Suhaib and Kunal also discuss the ethical boundaries of Suhaib’s storytelling, his departure from Indian TV, and how television news has evolved over the years.
