    🚨🚨 SEASON FINALÈ🚨🚨   Cant believe we’ve got here already, the final episode of Season 2! But what a way to end the season by having 2 amazing people well known in the VO world, Hugh Edwards and Gina Thompson, who are highly involved in Video games Casting, aswell as the infamous One Voice Conference and of course Gravy for the Brain! In this episode we hear of Michael's VOX late night voice-note shenanigans for the podcast, and Hugh tells us about the state of the Voiceover industry (from his perspective) and where it’s headed with new and improved technologies We talk very candidly and openly about AI, where it’s at, how it could affect and the measure worth looking at so it doesn’t affect you. Very insightful stuff We learn why Gina loves casting and why she's always listening out for new voices to catch her ear.  Jen can't stop interrupting Michael with her many questions for their guests,  And we announce our final voiceover performance of the week for the series Lizzie Jobling! A banger of a finale, not to be missed. A huge thank you to our esteemed guests Gina Thompson and Hugh Edwards for generously sharing their time and experience with us. From the extreme highs of awards and winning coveted jobs, to the lows of just missing out on your dream role or a worryingly quiet couple of months. Then all of the smaller undulations in between; picking yourself up, dusting yourself off, driving yourself forward and trying not to vomit along the way. For this weeks’ episode we were extremely honoured to be joined by illustrious Voice Actors Annie Warburton and Anthony Hewson as we discuss the rollercoaster that is voice acting. Michael started exploring blog ideas via ChatGPT and one thing it brought up was '5 Mistakes to Avoid When Hiring a Voiceover'  So naturally as working Voice Actors we thought we'd look into it and give you our hot take! We discuss the decline in cable TV viewership v. the increase in commercials via streaming platforms, and the potential impact on the voiceover industry. Michael also thinks Jen’s got her tea flask and picnic blanket packed for the Oasis reunion. 🙄 And as an episode first, we reveal this weeks’ voiceover read of the week!
