I’ve had a hard time finding more young leaning commentaries and outlooks on Cuban culture, history and current events..beyond Miami..and this podcast does it so well. It’s been able to keep me connected to my roots in these destabilizing times.

I’m on the 4th episode and I’ve learned so much. As a Cuban American I feel like my parents sheltered me from their story. This is great podcast to listen either alone to learn about your history, or with your parents to connect with them.

When my brother suggested I listen to his friend's show I wasn’t sure I’d listen past episode 1, but now I’m invested in knowing more about the experiences of the hosts and their family. It’s neat also because I grew up in the 90’s as well so it’s like getting to know about the larger world picture of my childhood. You won’t regret listening!
