AL was not, not, dismissive or prejudiced against lower class people. Have you seen how she cares about the family of the little boy who lost his leg? Or about her agent Briggs who was sick? Or how she took Cordingley to Paris? Most of the show is based on her actual diaries. She was kind, and didn’t push people around. (Except for her sister!)
Mostly Great

I enjoy this podcast and have no trouble recommending it to friends. My biggest pet peeve (in fairness this is an issue I have with other podcasts) is that the hosts sometimes forget how amplified their voices are. There’s too much cackling and going off topic on some episodes, and unfortunately I end up skipping those episodes altogether. They also cut each other off all the time. Worth a listen, but needs some tweaks.
Do they watch the shows?

Or is it just about bashing show and not understanding the core reading of the show?
Have to wonder if they care

I LOVE British TV and appreciate the backstories the hosts bring to this podcast But, while I hate to be negative, I do have to echo the other comments - it is very hard to listen to. A bit of editing and cleaning up all the “ums” and “likes” would go a long way to making it more listener friendly, which, I believe, is ultimately the point of having a podcast. With so many reviews saying the same thing, I have to wonder if they care, or this is just not that important to them. Disappointing, because it could be great.
