I can’t listen to Andy when he is on the radio so the pod is great for me. Nothing beats Andy’s takes and references to events from 40 to 60 years ago. The man can seemless drop Norm Van Brocklin into a discussion about sitting qbs…Not Alex Smith, not Brett Farve…Norm Van Brocklin. That is some deep knowledge that todays youngsters need to learn.

At a local Washington DC sports gathering, George Michael(Sports Machine fame)was introducing the new star of the hour Lindsay Czarniak to the various DC Sports Media glitterati. When Lindsay aprroached Andy Pollin and Steve Czaban George jumped in between them and said to Lindsay, "you don't need to know these idiots, there are more important people for you to meet". I've been listening to Steve and Andy in their various interations ever since I heard Andy (or was it Steve) tell that story.
