S2E6: Let's talk about maturity of all kinds!
One of the biggest things that Ryan is told about dating is that people don't feel like they are mature enough or ready enough to get married. Ryan and Kayla break down different levels of maturity. They talk about self-mastery over your emotions, passions, and appetites. There is another level of maturity which is having mastery over your physical attractiveness which can be how you move your body, get enough sleep, and what you fuel your body with. The last sign of maturity is progression, having goals, and being motivated. Maturing in these areas of life leads to being more ready to take your dating relationships a little more seriously.

S2E5: Let's talk about social attractiveness, part 2... because we're all really awkward.
The last episode is about becoming less socially awkward with the help of two guiding principles, thinking and observing. The remaining 3 principles of becoming socially attractive are meekness, asking, and seeking the spirit. Kayla, Ryan, and Josh talk about being humble enough to understand the people around you before you seek to be understood. Sometimes it takes asking a trusted friend or loved one to help you see where you need improvement. Through the guidance of the Spirit, you'll better know how to navigate social awareness. The hope is that you walk away from this episode better able to socialize with people you interact with every day.

S2E4: Let's talk about becoming less awkward and improving social attractiveness, part 1
We've all met someone who doesn't catch on to social cues as quickly as most... honestly most of us have been there at one time or another. The last time Ryan and Kayla were together they talked about spiritual attractiveness and intentional practices we can incorporate into our lives to come closer to Christ. The next focus in the realm of attractiveness is being social. Ryan and Kayla have invited a dear friend by the name of Kenzie to dissect some of the first things it takes to become more social. This topic is split into two episodes so that they could dive into each of the 5 topics in depth. Thinking and observing lay the groundwork for understanding social settings. Tune in next time to catch the remaining 3 pieces of advice.

Best Free Marriage Prep for All
Every episode was worth every minute! Even though I’d already taken Brother Eggett’s Dating and Courtship class in person at UVU (which might have been the only thing better than this podcast), it added so much to the social instruction I desperately needed after not dating for two years due to COVID-19. In many ways, it benefited my spiritual development as much as my social development. I feel so much more confident now towards my dating journey and hopeful about my future as I start to build an eternal family. Thanks to this podcast, I believe I’ll avoid a LOT of mistakes in dating and marriage that I might have otherwise made. I now know not only what I want in a husband but also how to best strive for those objectives. I’m sure that every teenager and young adult could greatly benefit from this podcast, no matter their past or present social circumstances. I’m also quite sure I’ll be reviewing these episodes in the future as I progress in my dating journey. I sure hope there’ll be a season 2!!!
Amazing content - not very well organized
I absolutely love everything that he has to share about dating. I especially love the quotes pulled in from different leaders of the church - it has been super insightful to listen to! I do, however, think the first 15 or so episodes could have been condensed into just a couple. It’s pretty repetitive. I think if all of this amazing material was organized and presented a little differently it could be so so good!! I also wish the guest speakers had a little more time to speak and share their thoughts. It seems like his wife comes on and doesn’t really say anything at all, haha.
