    Show 24 - An Immersive Easter Experience: 'Easter Uncovered' (with James Krieg)

    Have you ever wondered what it might have been like to experience the story of Easter firsthand?  James Krieg, pastor of Bethel Christian Church in Adelaide, created an Easter experience unlike many ever seen in churches across Australia and the world. Using the church building, he and the church community assembled elements representing the significant moments in Jesus' journey to the cross, his death, and his resurrection.  Lochy and Jon got to speak to James all about the experience, how it touched lives for the gospel, and how everyone else can do something like 'Easter Uncovered' in your own church!  Note: James is building a website easteruncovered.au (under construction) which will serve to explain more about the 'Easter Uncovered' experience.     Good day to you! We welcome you to Episode 22, where Lochy takes us through Bible memorisation! How did Lochy memorise the Book of Mark? Why did he do this? What did he learn? And how can we all memorise Sripture as well? All of these questions and more are discussed in this exciting episode, where we consider the importance of remembering Scripture. A key takeaway we hope you see is that anyone can begin Bible memorisation, and then improve on it as it becomes a helpful regular practice! God's Word is living and active. She is an Art Therapist, and has worked across Adelaide (South Australia) in group art sessions and also within a hospice environment with many different patients.  She has amazing stories to tell, and shows us that Art and the Christian faith are so ever present in the Art Therapy context.  Please note: Some sensitive issues are discussed, including conversations around mental health, discussion about people who are suicidal, chat about people who are dying in a hospice environment, and topics around anxiety, depression, trauma and loss, which some listeners may find distressing.
