AC Radio: The Impact of Justin Smith's Grad Transfer

This week on Assembly Call Radio, we have our regularly scheduled offseason episode about Justin Smith ... just in a much different context than we were anticipating last week. How will Justin's departure impact Indiana on the court next season? We dissect it from several angles.

    Plus:

    • Two Hoosiers were on a 2021 NBA Draft Big Board
    • What impact is the cancellation of the summer recruiting calendar going to have?
    • Indiana announced its academic calendar for the upcoming school year.
    • What pie-in-the-sky nonconference game would we like to see Indiana get on its schedule?
    • Will Archie have to coach effort this year?
    • How is Indiana likely to use its two open scholarships, if at all?

And stick around until the end, because we stumble upon a theretofore unmentioned element of Indiana's team that stands to get significantly better based on how the roster is now constructed.

All that and much more on this edition of The Assembly Call.

AC Radio: How Much Better Can Al Durham Be as a Senior?

This week on Assembly Call Radio, we begin our offseason player deep dives by discussing Al Durham. He's clearly overachieved based on his recruiting pedigree. Is he now ready for a leading role on a deep IU team as a senior?

Plus: what Indiana's improving APR means; the impact of Khristian Lander officially reclassifying on Indiana's outlook for next season; what the recent positive trends in terms of getting sports going again mean for college hoops; some Al Durham over-unders; and a look at Archie's coaching history and whether he's ever had a player quite like Lander.

And then, for the YouTubers, our latest ChatMob induction ... the man they call Hooparazzi.

All that and much more on this edition of The Assembly Call.

Big I U fan but love Matt

Matt Painter was great defending the Purdue program. I wish Archie would show the same courage. After listening to your show I would like to send some adult diapers to California for Ryan to wear.

My Favorite IU Pod!!!!

By far the best IU basketball podcast out there. Maybe even best basketball pod, but I might be partial!! Seriously though, I am a big Alabama football fan, and I WISH there was a podcast as good as this for my other alma mater.

This is a must listen for anyone who loves IU basketball or BIG 10 basketball. Keep up the great work guys!!!! I’ve been listening for years, and your style makes it seem like I know you personally although we’ve never met.
