This podcast is exactly what I didn’t know I needed! I found Julia on tiktok and I’ll admit, when she first posted about having a podcast I was like “great, another podcast…”But I really haven’t heard a podcast about the journey of new writers! Many of the writing podcasts I listen to feature writers who found success 20+ years ago, which is great but not as applicable to where I am. Especially with how rapidly the industry changes, this podcast provides so much insight about what it means to be a writer NOW. And Julia is an amazing interviewer! Asks amazing questions, doesn’t interrupt her guests, etc. Listen to this podcast!

Linzy Taylor Here! I’m one of those TikTok Creators who also started out as a child actor. I started writing songs in my 20’s, Screenplays in my early 30’s, and now I’m writing a memoir. I’m 38 now and I’ve built this big platform on social media but I’m trying to figure out how to use it as a stepping stone to break into the screenwriting industry.
