The Baltimore County Arts Guild: Making Art Accessible to Everyone

The Baltimore County Arts Guild was established to integrate the arts into the broad spectrum of community life, enhancing the vibrancy of our county culturally, educationally, recreationally and economically. In 2002, the Maryland General Assembly designated Catonsville as, "Music City, Maryland" in honor of its rich music heritage and abundant music resources including music specialty shops, businesses and performance venues. In 2020, Baltimore County Government and the Baltimore County Arts Guild sought and received designation for Catonsville as Baltimore County's first Arts & Entertainment District.​​ Monica Herber, Director of the Baltimore County Arts Guild, shares with us her vision of the organization and the future plans for expansion. ​
