The BEMA Podcast is a walk-through of the context of the Bible and the Text itself, as well as surrounding history. We deconstruct our common readings of the Bible and attempt to reconstruct them through the lens of historical context.
The main body of work is contained in Seasons 1–5, and we encourage you to start with episode 0 (or even -1) and continue in order through episode 204. Beyond that, we explore new topics, revisit old topics, and dive deeper into practical ways of living out the things we have learned together.

I would highly recommend listening to this podcast!! Marty Solomon, who is the host, does a really great job of teaching the Bible from an eastern perspective, which is the where it was written. Knowing the culture behind the Biblical narrative is so important in truly understanding who God is and what He is trying to teach us. Marty and his co-host Brent Billings give such good insights in that regard. Since listening to this podcast, my faith has deepened, my relationship with God and knowledge of who He is has grown tremendously, and I truly feel as though I have a better understanding of the Bible. HIGHLY RECCOMEND :)

Never have I ever seen a podcast that radically changed my life like this one. I’ll never read the Bible the same or even think the same because my eyes have been opened to the beauty of ancient thought and tradition that predates the scholarship that I held on to so tightly that had no real foundation.
