Guitar Dads

I really dislike posting a review where I cannot give 5 stars, and I don’t post about junk podcasts. In this care, I find the Guitar Dads to have all kinds of good information and ideas, but their addiction to blabbermouth drivel gets worse with each new episode. They are always talking about themselves, or to each other, and this has absolutely no interest value to the listener, in this or any podcast. I guess I have to say that I am often surprised about their lack of awareness of guitar matters going back further than about when they started playing. It feels odd to encounter podcasters who know less about their subject than is usually the case. This being said, there’s a lot of potential to this show, and the podcasters do have some admirable qualities, notably their avoidance of pontificating. Their light touch is appealing and refreshing. It would not be hard to make this a 5-star podcast. Less self-indulgence, more consideration for the audience, and for guitars.

Sorry guys. I don’t want to hear 30 minutes of chat out of 50, from you about anything BUT the topic listed. Please just stick to the topic…
