This podcast is a great find if you enjoy seeking out information that would take days of reading articles and finding sources... but combined into nice 30 minute segments. Austin Texas is an incredible city to live, work and play in. Located in the great State of Texas. Knowing how and why plus analyze information where we have been to determine best path for where we go is the reason I listen to this podcast. AJ and his team have targeted influential people and people that have made a career in politics or following politics to give us a look inside. Plus they also find guest to speak to many industries and topics. I never listen to an episode where I don’t think to myself at some point - “aha, I didn’t know that...”

As a recent immigrant to US, understanding government decision making as well as the interplay between business can be challenging. I’ve found that print is quite a shallow source of information and doesn’t paint a full picture of the dynamics which shape policy. It’s a complex topic and one which the host addresses from a neutral position which is refreshing. this is an important podcast which all US residents should listen to, not just policy makers / influencers. Understanding why decisions are made and the deeper issues at play in policy making is crucial to having a balanced discussion on the development of the state/nation.
