    What do you practice?

    What do you practice?

It’s been a minute, and I’ve missed this, um, practice of recording The Bind.I’d been waiting to finish the trilogy of episodes that Jordan and I had started (Check out ‘Why Do Men Isolate?’ and ‘Why Do Men Have a Hard Time Feeling Their Feelings?’), but couldn’t wait any longer. Fear not, we’ll get to it—it’s just got a timeline of its own.So I thought I’d talk a bit about practice, something near and dear to my heart. Afterall, we are all practicing something.I’d love to hear how this lands...

    Walkin' and talkin'

    Walkin' and talkin'

A bit of a different one today. I wanted to explroe something that’s been on my mind, but not be glued to my desk (with my fancy microphone). So if you’re listening to this one, you’re on a walk with me.One of the things I pretty much always invite guys to do is to feel what’s happening in their bodies. The sensations that are happening in our bodies are pretty much always telling us something. How much access do we have to them? We’re not talking about emotions just yet—just the sensations in...

This one is far and reaching and was a lot of fun.Quick CW: brief mention of suicide ideation.Mike Joseph is the host and producer of the podcast Detoxicity, which aims to rewrite the code for what’s considered masculine in society. A wonderful discovery of ourselves as men

I sense this to be a needed exploration and discovery for many of us, around what it means to be a man in our current society, as well as how we can (together!) heal, grow, and even enjoy our full selves. Greg is a wonderful and competent guide for this at a time when such guidance is in short supply.

A Must Listen for any man

Greg’s insight into the struggles of being a man in today’s culture are powerful and inspiring. I have been deeply moved by what he has had to say and I recognize myself in the stories he shares. This podcast has inspired me to change the way I live in this world as a man.
