Hey Cristy, It’s Mariah Campos! You and your sister’s podcasts are so helpful and I honestly wish there were a million more! Thank you so much for the break down of science, health and our bodies to help your community understand the truth! I appreciate you both being so transparent with even your own battles you’ve gone through to help us with OUR own everyday testimonies and whatever may come! I really vibe with all your podcasts and videos(knowledge is power)! I understand the “Eating to hate” episode but the way I see it is I grew up in barely above poverty and no matter what food it was, we couldn’t afford to throw it away, unless it had “gone bad” so changing that mindset has been so freeing because I would rather be a rebel than a slave! Again, you guys are brilliant and absolutely amazing for what you do and give! -Mariah C. (Nampa, ID)
Success and leadership involves a balance of strength and empathy.

I understand and respect your commitment to raising awareness about obesity and its effects on individuals and the healthcare system. Your passion for this cause is evident and has the potential to inspire meaningful change. However, I feel compelled to share my perspective on some of the content that you have posted on your platforms. Using images or videos of individuals without their consent, especially in a manner that could be seen as shaming, crosses a boundary of privacy and respect. While the intention might be to highlight a public health issue, the method of doing so can inadvertently harm those who are already vulnerable and struggling. Everyone has their own story, and we cannot know the personal circumstances behind each individual's health journey. Publicly sharing such content can lead to embarrassment, hurt feelings, and a sense of invasion of privacy, which may not be conducive to the positive change you're aiming for. As an influencer, your voice carries weight, and with it, a responsibility to lead with empathy and kindness. I believe there is an opportunity here to approach this topic in a way that is both informative and uplifting, without compromising the dignity of others. Relationships and how we treat others, whether they are family, friends, employees or strangers, are at the core of our well-being. It is never too late to change course and adopt a more empathetic approach. By doing so, you can still advocate for your cause while also fostering a supportive following. This could lead to more fulfilling relationships and a legacy that you can actually be proud of. You claim to be a godly person who believes in Christ. Are we not supposed to forgive others? No one is perfect; all humans make mistakes. It is sad to hear you say you have no desire to have your sisters in your life ever again. If you are not careful, there may come a day when you will be alone—without family, employees, a husband, or a career. Nothing. Well... maybe a dog... they are an important part of our lives, but definitely not the only thing. You say you are resilient. Resilience is indeed a commendable quality, but it should not come at the expense of others' well-being or dignity. True resilience is about overcoming personal challenges while also being mindful of the impact one's actions have on those around them. It's about growing stronger internally without diminishing others. Building a legacy that is both resilient and respectful is something to be truly proud of. It reflects a character that values not just personal success, but also the success and happiness of others. Success can be measured in many ways, and while being polarizing might draw attention or provoke discussion, it doesn’t necessarily equate to success. Success often involves a balance of respect, positive influence, and the ability to inspire and uplift others without causing harm or division. It’s about creating a legacy that’s not only remembered for its achievements but also for its positive impact on individuals and communities. It’s difficult to determine the motivations behind someone’s actions without knowing them personally. People can exhibit traits that may seem narcissistic or haughty, but these behaviors could also be a way of coping with their own insecurities or a cry for attention and love. It’s important to approach such situations with empathy and an open mind, recognizing that everyone has their own struggles and that behavior is often a reflection of one’s internal state. Offering understanding and compassion, even when we disagree with someone’s actions, can sometimes open the door to better communication and healing. The effectiveness of tough love depends on the situation and the individuals involved. It requires a deep understanding of the person and their needs, as well as a commitment to supporting them through change. When misapplied, it can damage relationships and hurt those it was meant to help. It’s always important to balance firmness with empathy, ensuring that the person on the receiving end feels supported rather than attacked. I know you are a Trump lover. As am I; he has my vote. I love his leadership and how he is able to get things done. He is direct and decisive. But he can be polarizing at times, and this is actually one of his worst traits; he can often times be his own worst enemy. Being direct and decisive can be admirable, and it’s understandable that these characteristics can resonate with many people. At the same time, it’s also valuable to consider the impact of communication styles and how they affect others. Leadership involves a balance of strength and empathy, and finding that balance can be key to effective and respectful governance. If he could have some empathy and respect towards others; just imagine the support and followers he would have. It would be simply amazing. MAGA and MAHA are great goals. But let's do it with dignity and respect for others. I hope this message is received in the spirit of constructive feedback. I wish you well.
No nonsense

I appreciate the no-nonsense approach to nutrition that these ladies provide. I wish more people could hear this information… so many people could avoid bariatric surgery by following these “rules” - though it’s less work than what you’d have to do to prepare for bariatric surgery, so it’s a win-win! I really appreciated the podcast about home care experiences- we certainly do pretend like what we do today doesn’t determine what our golden years will be like. Thanks for providing this podcast! (I would love to contact you directly but I can’t figure out how)
