Returning for another episode of News updates and ongoings in the state of Washingtons hunting world is the one and only Kelsey Ross. She brings a great deal of knowledge and input on lots of the hot topics surrounding the fight for hunting rights and the conservation efforts by sportsman and woman.

This is part 2 of the youth hunt camp my family and I attended. I am joined by another batch of awesome kids along with a few more members of the staff. Im also joined by Moosie the owner of Catch and Release Camo. I got invited to attend a non profit youth hunt camp and was asked to record a podcast there. While I wasn’t sure what to expect. Everything exceeded my expectations. The company, kids, hosts, land owner and everyone involved have really created a great family environment for Kida and people of all ages to get in the woods and disconnected from the grid. I want to thank all involved and I hope I captured some of the greatness of this camp in this part 1 episode.

As a new style of news and updates I would like to have Kelsi Ross from the Conservation Coalition of WA join us regularly to help keep everyone up to date and informed on the issues at hand with hunting rights and legislative actions going on in the PNW. This episode we hear from Kelsi on different bills and policy in the fish and wildlife commission. There is also some information on a leaked email and the introduction of grizzlies to the north cascades.

Join Casey Sainsbury and I around the fire to talk about life. If there was to be a topic of discussion in this episode I would have to say it’s mostly about life choices, mental health and just overall what it’s like to be human. As men we aren’t perfect in our efforts and all we can hope for is to learn from out mistakes. this episode is a great example to look into how we can all grow together.

It’s been over a year since we have checked in on Justin Door and his quest for harvesting a turkey in 49 states that hold huntable populations of Turkey. While this is a tale of the travels to accomplish this goal, the conversation is more than just notching Tags. We dive into a look at what great people you might run into in this country if you just turn off the news. So check it out and I hope you enjoy the conversation as much as we did.
