I was shocked as was listening for the first time and heard the Gleyber discussion. I have no problem with strong criticism of a player and his stats but my jaw dropped when I heard one of you say “Did you see his face last night? That’s the face of a LOSER.” That’s an appalling statement. Being mean and nasty is your right but I have chosen not to listen to the show again. There’s plenty of people spewing hate in the world and I choose not to listen to people who are hurtful to others when I’m listening to the Yankees. Again, let me state that if the Yankees are playing poorly they each deserve harsh criticism and I have no problem with that but hurtful talk is not appropriate in my opinion. I’ll also say that a loser would be arrogantly not being upset when playing poorly. Gleyber clearly is suffering and probably feels horrible about his performance. I give him credit for sitting there in public knowing he’s doing so poorly. I haven’t heard him make excuses or lash out at anyone.
