J. David Markham / Ukraine
My old friend and colleague J. David Markham joined me today to talk about Russia and Ukraine. We planned to get to other topics, but ran out of time. Although we agree on most things related to Napoleon, David and I disagree on nearly everything else related to geopolitics, so this was a fun episode.

Great Podcast, No BS
If you prefer your news stories spoon-fed in a plain vanilla fashion that is easily digestible and seldom elicits a healthy critical inspection of the issues, then this is not the show for you.
Once again, Cam and Ray have delivered a stimulating, thought-provoking discourse through their podcast The BS Filter. The hosts take on recent news stories as well as events from the not so distant past- dissecting the popularly held narratives and offering different perspectives to the immense benefit of the listener. Subscribers of the show will rapidly find themselves henceforth compelled to question the motives of the public, politicians, and mainstream media outlets alike.
Do you want the truth?
Then stop wasting your time, and subscribe to this show. The small subscription cost is a non-factor when weighed against what is certain to be a newfound ability to witness the world as it truly exists.
I have been a long-time listener of all of Cam and Ray’s brilliant array of shows, but I must admit, The BS Filter is quickly becoming my favorite. Just kidding; they are all my favorites!
Go check it out!
An hour of BS!
And one of the best hours you can spend with a free podcast ! Give it a listen and stay for the duration.
These guys are funny, but their views are naive and not well founded
Too bad Ray is a naive righty who falls for Cameron's naive views of the world. One of you needs to actually understand politics and have read basic facts before you make up third grade views of the world. This show will make it hard for me to listen to the History of WWII pod, where Ray drops the arrogant Cameron, and does great work. Their naive views are funny when they make up stuff about Rome or other ancient history, it gets dangerous when their ill-formed views support Trump and Russia views of the West. Their understanding of politics is about as worthwhile as their understanding of the metric system, as they cant even get a basic miles to kilometers conversion correct in the latest epsode. Remember, you are listening to idiots can be funny, until it isn’t.
