Beersgiving: Showcasing the Power of Diversity in Craft Beer

Beersgiving is about the advancement of diversity in craft beer for women with families they support with their craft beer career. This episode I want to talk to you about the "She's Intense" Hop and Sting /Pink boots, collaboration beer, as well as the other pink boots collaborations that we've done for 2020.  Beersgiving has been highlighting what women in craft beer have been doing, specifically here in the Dallas, Fort Worth area. We are crushing it, and yes, I say we, because I'm included in that and I'm so excited and proud of that. I'm proud of the work that we're doing out here, the women in craft beer are crushing it from the business owners of the craft beer bars to the business owners of the breweries, to the brewers and to the cellar women, and to the delivery women and to the sales women and the promotional women and the artistic women. We are crushing it in the North Texas beer scene right now.  The North Texas women and beer of the Pink Boots Society have officially launched the fastest selling beer during the quarantine time, anywhere in the country. And I'm not talking about macro beer, I'm talking about for craft beer took them out for local beer. And I'm talking about a grassroots movement of women and women of color, coming together and showcasing what they can do in a time of need. and today I'm happy to report that we are almost sold out of a 30 barrel batch of our triple dry hopped, double IPA, "She's Intense". Ladies and gentlemen, let me tell you she's intense is living up to her name. She is intense, there's about like one hundred, 4 packs left. Y'all need to get out there and get your four pack cuz ain't gonna be much left, we have a little over 104 packs left, and only eight kegs and that probably went down to six kegs overnight. And so, for the craft beer bar owners for the bottle shop owners the liquor store owners the convenience store owners. If you're not on this "She's Intense" y'all need to hit up, Jeremy. That happens thing, because this is selling, okay, if you are having trouble moving any of your inventory. You need to get how you need to get "She's Intense" on your shelf because it's going to fly, and I promise you it's going to bring people in, they're going to pick up a four pack of "She's Intense" they're going to browse a little because you know they come out the house and they go buy something else. So guess "She's Intense", it's for a good cause portion of the proceeds go to support the women in the craft beer industry through the pink boot society, a portion goes to the national chapter, and a portion goes to our local chapter. So, get it, get good. Where can you get this Pink Boots Society craft beer "She's Intense"? BEERSGIVING Women Lead Professional Pairings

BEERSGIVING WOMEN LEAD PROFESSIONAL PAIRINGS INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATIONS HAPPENED ALL OVER THE DFW METROPLEX WOMEN OF DFW ARE ACTIVELY DIVERSIFYING CRAFT BEER. HIGHLIGHTING SHERO ADVOCATES FOR AN INCLUSIVE INDUSTRY, EQUAL PAY, EDUCATIONAL EQUITY & MORE OPPORTUNITIES. Dallas Fort Worth, Texas: March 2020 - There is a well known rival between Dallas and Fort Worth causing citizens of each sister city to stay out of the other for months even years at a time. This rivalry extends to residents of the mid-cities and outer suburbs who are known to bark about driving to either metro area for events seen as out of the way. However, there is a growing trend that's making the Metroplex a more close knit community. The trend is bringing together both people and sustainable agriculture systems. "Blame it on the alcohol"; "Blame it on the juice" these are quotes from Jamie Foxx and Lizzo respectively that are all too fitting. Because here you can “BLAME IT ON THE CRAFT BEER”. They say blood is thicker than water. Well, craft beer in the DFW must be magic liquid because it's causing residents and transplants to cross the picket lines of the TX-121, I30 and I20 that connect the two cities to festivals, new release parties and pairing dinners for a taste, sip or crowler to go. One group in particular is responsible for doing the leg work necessary to build this bridge. The NTX Women of Beer, associated with the national organization Pink Boots Society which seeks to educate, empower, inspire and assist women who work in the craft beer industry and supporting sectors. These women are bona fide scientists, technicians, engineers, mathematicians, artists, writers and business owners all earning a living by applying their STEM skills to the craft beer manufacturing industry. They’ve been swarming the cities doing collaboration brew days with heavy hitting breweries then tapping kegs at events and festivals in each city for one purpose, to celebrate a diverse array of women in this craft beer STEM industry. “These women are sourcing agricultural ingredients, milling grains, mashing, sparing, boiling, knocking out, pitching yeast, cellaring, racking beer, tapping kegs and filling glasses for kicks and giggles as they connect with in the most chill Protest ever creating a revolution that's even being televised.” - Danii Oliver, BEERSGIVING As the in Craft beer industry has octupled across the Dallas Fort Worth area and continues to n-tuple it's left out the women and people of color who work within the space. The lonestar professionals aren't having it anymore. They want to showcase the area’s inclusion of women and welcome in a more diverse audience. With the founder of BEERSGIVING in the group there is a strong campaign to bring the diversity of the state through the doors and grow the market in an informative and family friendly manner. It’s A Chill Revolution Bringing People Together These eclectic women are black, brown, tan, white, gender unlabeled, owners and employees all part of large and small organizations separately. They should be rivals in the competition for taste buds, but they aren't. Collectively these women are leading a revolution that's drawing residents from Plano, Denton, Weatherford, Burleson, Waxahachie and Rockwall all to celebrate women who love, make, and service this liquid magic capable of softening the hearts of men and strangers for betterment of community and families. Sustainable Agriculture Movements On The Rise Farmers in the countryside grow the grains herbs, spice and fruits being added to craft beer. The spent grains from each brew day are collected by farmers who feed it to their livestock with it. Then the animals graze, returning nutrients to the soil for the next crop. Finally quality meats are produced that are paired as dishes in beer dinners that showcase stories of the history, art, inspiration and process behind what these women have been presenting to the public.
