I never miss an episode of this podcast, which I love for so many reasons. Noah is a great host and sets the stage for each episode in a moving and erudite fashion. I love hearing about the “what’s the what” at the beginning, and then the formula of discussion with some pretty great guests. (Full disclosure: Linda Gradstein and I have been great friends since our days at Camp Ramah). The greatest ending of each episode is the “what a country” segment where we get to hear something wonderful from each participant that typifies their Israel experience. They are always so special and some bring tears to my eyes. Do yourself a favor and listen each week. It will fill your heart.

This is the one podcast I listen to in full week in and week out. There is no better window than this into the goings on in Israel for those of us in the diaspora, and Noah, Allison, and the gang feel like family at this point. Thank you all for the effort you put into this every week, and here’s to many many more

This episode put so much into clear perspective for me as I struggle with so many opposing thoughts. I wish everyone could hear this. Inspiring, heartfelt, poignant witty…without being sappy. the best of what I cherish about Israel despite all. Thank you! As many of us in the US are struggling w deep loss, anger and fear about the election results I struggle w the gap between many Israeli and US Jews, particularly given the very complicated role the war had to play in the results. I would welcome deeper exploration of that divide, as I know you would handle it expertly.
A must listen

There’s so many things I love about this podcast, let me name a few: - Noah’s pace and tone when he opens the show, which more than once, has touched me so profoundly and brought me to tears. Noah conveys his stories with a unique raw power. - I love the divergence of opinions thanks to his guests from a wide spectrum of opinions. Healthy and respectful debates, such a great example of the Jewish ethos! - love love love the music vignettes across the show. Thank you for making me discover Slichot by yehudit ravitz. I live in America now, where every shmock under the sun has a podcast and suddenly is an expert in Israel and the Middle East. They’re not. This podcast brings an authentic POV on what is going on Israel and its analysis is more than ever necessary. Toda raba 💙🤍🙏
