Thank you for your input on the election in November. You mention that Rep Aument believes the petitions are frivolous and too costly for Pennsylvania. This is what I would like to tell Aument: I recruited our JOE and Inspector of elections at my precinct. They’re both good, honest people. I knew they would run an honest voting station. On Nov 8th, I was a poll worker at our precinct. I had no doubt that the voting ran legally and honestly. But, at 8p when all of the JOE’s in Chester County received a text from Chester County Voter services that read “counting the votes on the ballots was against the election code and must be reported”, I became highly suspicious. It never occurred to my JOE or me to count the votes on the ballots. So that text was a red flag. With the lack of trust in our elections, why did they send that text? It only created suspicion. And quite frankly, it was threatening. We have all seen and heard that ALL MACHINES have the potential for manipulation by an outside source. There’s even a video of Hilary Clinton complaining about it. That text from Voter services raised my doubts about the validity of our election results at my precinct as I wondered if our machine was manipulated by an outside source. Maybe Mr Aument needs to answer a few questions, do his homework and his research before making such irresponsible statements.
